Whether it’s a quick trip to the ssupermarket, or a holiday trek down South, it’s great to have the assurance that your vehicle is up to the job. So, book in a visit to your local mechanic at Brown’s Bay today for your next WOF inspection.
How long will it take?
We estimate it’ll take approximately 40 minutes* for most vehicles. But, we’ll let you know if we think it’s going to take longer. We understand how frustrating it is to be held up when you want to get back on the road.
What can you inspect?
We carry out WOF inspections on all cars, 4x4 vehicles, and trailers. The inspections are all carried out on site, and by a certified technician.
Bosch accredited, and European car specialists, Anzac Automotive are the preferred “Euro car mechanic” of our loyal North Shore customer base.
Can I trust the safety of your testing equipment?
Our WOF test lane was made by Maha all the way from Germany. This machinery accurately tests your brakes, shock absorbers and wheel alignment, simply by driving your vehicle through the test lane. Most
importantly, it allows our customers to drive away with full assurance of the safety of their family vehicle.
If car repairs are needed, how soon could they be done?
If any work is required to get your vehicle up to WOF standard we are happy to help. Alternatively, you may wish to have your car repairs carried out elsewhere.
When we spot a safety issue, we provide you with a no-obligation estimate of the cost of car repairs required. This means you’ll get a fair benchmark of what the repairs should cost you by a professional automotive technician providing car repairs in Auckland.
Should you choose us to carry out your car repairs, we’ll work hard to make sure you don’t have to undertake a second trip for the WOF “sticker.” In most cases, we are able to complete repairs and approve the WOF on the same day! For repairs that require longer time, e.g. ordering in special parts, we offer a complimentary courtesy car service to our customers.
Can I have a service with my WOF?
The WOF check is a separate safety and compliance inspection and therefore must be treated as a “stand alone” job. However, many of our customers do enjoy the convenience of booking in a car service, which will be carried out, once the WOF inspection, and any ensuing work, is completed.
We would normally complete your WOF inspection first, before starting a service. This way, we can advise you of any safety concerns or work required to pass the WOF, before we start servicing your vehicle. By
following this procedure, you as a customer stay in control of the costs, and have all the relevant information at hand, when you need it.
If your vehicle passes the WOF inspection, we can then carry straight on and complete the service for you – all in the same day.
Anzac Automotive prides itself on delivering comprehensive testing, and one of the highest standards of vehicles servicing in Auckland. From timing belt checks, to brakes and cam belts, and everything in between, we’ll make sure your vehicle continues to operate at peak performance. Book your WOF + Service in today!
