Anzac Automotive has been operating in Browns Bay for over 25 years. Owned and operated by Ash Hames since July 2002. We pride ourselves on the level of service we provide to our customers. Meet the Team

Ash Hames: Owner/Manager
I’ve been working on cars for over twenty years now; I still have a real passion for the automotive industry. Cars and the technology in them are constantly changing so there’s always something new to learn and keep me motivated.
I also have a passion for customer service. I know that bringing your vehicle to the workshop for mechanical repairs and service can be an experience that all too often leaves you feeling “ripped off”. I’ll make sure you never feel that way after visiting Anzac Automotive. We’ll do our best to give you all the information you need to make the right decision for you and your vehicle. Well give you FREE and honest advise and we guarantee our workmanship. If you’re not happy with any aspect of our service, let me know. I give you my personal assurance that we will put it right.
 

I came to New Zealand from England in April 2008 after talking to some of my friends who have been living here for a few years themselves. Although I’ve had to endure two winters in a row (one in England and one in New Zealand) I’m looking forward to the kiwi summer that I keep hearing so much about.

I am passionate about motorbikes and every opportunity I have I like to get out on the dirt track and do a bit of racing.

I love working on cars, especially European vehicles of which I have had plenty of experience with. I’ve been working on them since I was 16 years old.
